My Most Anticipated 2021 Releases // Asian Books & Sapphics Are Coming to Save the 20s

Happy new year, everyone!

Yes, I know that I disappeared again in December, but it’s because I was reading 26 books in a desperate rush to complete my Goodreads challenge (but that’s a story for another day). Today I’m bringing you my most anticipated books of 2021. There are probably about five more 2021 releases I can name that I have my eyes on, but for the sake of keeping this post short, I’ve narrowed my list down to 14 books!

Recommending Some Diverse Books I’ve Read This Year!

Sadly, I’m running out of post ideas and burning out.

So I hope you can forgive me if this post isn’t very good and I’m less active these days. I scrapped a bunch of post ideas before I finally settled on recommending a few diverse books I’ve read this year. This is only a small selection of diverse books worth reading, and I could really do better at reading and promoting diverse books (we all could). But I hope you’ll find some books to pick up here! Ownvoices books are so important, and you should read them instead of books by problematic authors. 🙃

Favorite Posts of the Month: June 2020 // My Thoughts on J.K. Rowling, Black Voices You Need to Listen to, LGBT Recommendations, & More

It’s Favorite Posts of the Month part two!!

In case you missed it, FPOTM is a monthly feature where I highlight my favorite posts I read that were published in the previous month. And to make the posts less boring to read, I intersperse them with gifs. (This month’s theme is rainbow for Pride Month!!) I’m actually a little sad because I didn’t really find any favorite favorite posts in June, whereas I had so much in May, but oh well. At least I didn’t have to worry about this post being too long.

CAITLIN READS: 2020 Releases with F/F Romances // ft. The Midnight Lie, You Should See Me in a Crown, & more!

I really had to speed-read in order for this post to go up before the end of Pride Month, and I’m so happy that I made it!

This month’s Caitlin Reads is Pride-themed. As you can tell from the title, I’ll be reading f/f books that were released this year. I’m so excited, because I absolutely love boosting f/f books. It sucks that so many people say that there there are no f/f books, or that there are no good f/f books. I’m excited to prove them wrong in today’s post! (Also, I’m so sorry there was no Caitlin Reads in May. I wasn’t able to finish the books in time. 😔)

The Stuck at Home Book Tag // Basically my Pride Month TBR + Some LGBT Book Recs!

Today’s post wasn’t supposed to be a tag…

But since all the posts I wanted to publish before this one were taking too much time to write, here we are. I’m really excited to do this tag though!! I’m pretty sure most of us are now used to the Quarantine Life, so what better way to celebrate our assimilation than with a quarantine-themed book tag? Thank you so much to Rhi @ Marshmallow Harmonies for tagging me!! She has an amazing blog aesthetic, gives great book recommendations, and is super friendly—please go follow her. 🥺
