My Most Anticipated 2021 Releases // Asian Books & Sapphics Are Coming to Save the 20s

Happy new year, everyone!

Yes, I know that I disappeared again in December, but it’s because I was reading 26 books in a desperate rush to complete my Goodreads challenge (but that’s a story for another day). Today I’m bringing you my most anticipated books of 2021. There are probably about five more 2021 releases I can name that I have my eyes on, but for the sake of keeping this post short, I’ve narrowed my list down to 14 books!

Books I Plan to Read in September, ft. Raybearer, You Deserve Each Other, & More!

I’m posting something low-effort because school is killing me, look away.

I’m sure you’ve had enough of me complaining about school, so I’ll spare you the excuses! Today I’m just gonna list a few books I plan to read in the rest of September. I am 0% certain that I’ll manage to finish all of these before the month ends, but a girl can dream. (Also, I need to step up my reading game because The Starless Sea put me behind on my reading challenge. πŸ™ƒ I’m sure you’re judging me for not just lowering it but I’m too competitive for that okay.)

Recommending Some Diverse Books I’ve Read This Year!

Sadly, I’m running out of post ideas and burning out.

So I hope you can forgive me if this post isn’t very good and I’m less active these days. This is only a small selection of diverse books worth reading, and I could really do better at reading and promoting diverse books (we all could). But I hope you’ll find some books to pick up here! Ownvoices books are so important, and you should read them instead of books by problematic authors. πŸ™ƒ

5-Star Predictions Wrap-up + New Predictions, aka Will I Ever Rate a Book 5 Stars Again

Pretty on-brand of me to be posting this wrap-up late. 😎

You probably don’t remember, but back in December 2019, I posted my first 5-star predictions wrap-up, along with some new 5-star predictions. I gave myself until June 2020 to finish all the books, but that didn’t work out so well. [cough] because of The Starless Sea [cough]

My (Late) April TBR + Mini Life Update!! // Books You’ll Probably Yell at Me to Read & Taking my O.W.L.s

Yes, I’m aware that we’re more than a week into April already.

But I have the ambitious goal of reading 20 books in April, and so far I’ve only read four. So here’s hoping that this post motivates me to read 16 more books this month! (Imagine how embarrassing it will be if I don’t read at least half of these books…)
