October & November Wrap-up // Long Time No See!!

I haven’t sat down to write a blog post in what feels like forever, so bear with me as I relearn this blogging thing.

I can’t believe that we’re already in the last month of 2020! I’m eager to leave this awful year behind us, but at the same time I don’t really see how 2021 could magically make everything better. I still haven’t left my house since late February/early March, and I may actually spend an entire year without going outside.

Interview with Xiran Jay Zhao, Author of Iron Widow // Writing Advice, Anime, & More

I’m very excited for today’s post (which is my first in a long time… I’ll address that at the end of the post)!

If you’re on book twitter or maybe YouTube, you probably know Xiran Jay Zhao, author of Iron Widow, coming Fall 2021! Hi, long time no see.

It’s been two weeks since my last post, and I usually post at least once a week so this is weird for me. Sorry for disappearing! Anyways, since a certain TERF’s transphobic book was announced in September, I’d like to direct you to this thread containing donation links and petitions to sign in order to help Black trans lives.

Reacting to Book Twitter’s Unpopular Opinions, Part Two // Friends to Lovers, 3-Star Ratings, & More!

A few months ago, I made a post reacting to book twitter’s unpopular opinions.

And I’m so happy you guys liked it!! A few commenters suggested that I make a part two, so here it is. Thank you so much to everyone who sent me their opinions when I asked on Twitter. ❤ (I tried to include everyone’s in this post, but I had to exclude some because I just couldn’t think of anything to say in response or the opinion was really similar to another one I got.)
